About the Project

Project JAN-SOOCHNA is a civic empowerment initiative established to enhance government transparency, foster administrative accountability, and ensure that public welfare benefits reach eligible citizens. Operating with a ₹5 Lakh budget, the project bridges the gap between citizens and public administration through direct guidance, legal aid, and institutional representation.

The project assists citizens in filing Right to Information (RTI) applications, accessing government welfare schemes, submitting formal grievances, and filing lawful representations before authorities. By conducting grassroots clinics and auditing the implementation of key welfare legislation, Project JAN-SOOCHNA empowers marginalized communities to claim their statutory rights and holds public offices accountable to principles of good governance.
